Wales o70s tournament in Germany!

Wales were successful in their pursuit of tri-nations tournament honours in Germany....writes Jon Ross...

[b]Wales Veterans' Football[/b were delighted to accept an invitation from Großefehn Sports Club to take an o70s squad to the Muhlenstadion Großefehn in northern Germany, and under the guidance of manager, Jon Ross, they drew their first match 1-1 against Großefehn Sports Club, with Billy Arnold on target for Wales and then clinched the title with a close-fought encounter against a German select side, with Billy Arnold grabbing the winner! Although they claimed the title, they lost out narrowly to the German national squad 3-2, Frank Lennon and Mark Entwistle on target for Wales.
