John Jones and his o55s squad, completed a superb double for the Wales Veterans' Football Association, lifting the o55s FOUR Nations Trophy just a fortnight after winning the o70s World Cup in Cardiff.
A comfortable 3-0 win against Northern Ireland in their final game with goals by Fredricksen, Kennedy and Lewis, saw them leapfrog the hosts, England, who surprisingly lost out to Maccabi UK 4-1 in their final match. Wales' emphatic 5-2 win against Maccabi in their first game with goals by Darren Thompson (2), John Paul Kennedy (2) and Vince Lewis, was enough for them to top the table.
