Wales defeat CPD Llandysul FC

The Wales Veterans' Football Association were delighted to accept an invitation to take a squad to CPD Llandysul FC, on Saturday 23rd September 2023.

Manager, Rogan Matthews took an o45s 'select' squad and faced a defiant home side who fought to the last minute on the wonderful Llandysul Park suface but, Wales dominated the match and scored freely with Kevin Bartley and Steven Evans helping themselves to a hat-trick each. Karl Miller, Neale Richards, Andy Legg and Neal Bryant (pen) completed the scoring.

Match co-odinator Emma Williams reported that “it was a really successful day for CPD Llandysul FC who rely on raising money through events like this to keep our small community club going and we very much appreciate the support of the Wales Veterans' Football Association.”

Wales Veterans' Football Association are hoping to return to Llandysul Park next season.
