Penydarren win o40s Play-off Friendly!

Congratulations to o40s Workwear Supermarket.com West winners, Penydarren, who defeated East winners Barry Town, in a closely-fought, ‘Play-off Friendly’ at Jenner Park. Steve Lane’s charges, effectively, completed the treble this season after securing the West League and o40s Cup earlier this month and will now face North Wales champions, Hawarden Veterans FC, as a curtain raiser to the new season.

In a highly competitive encounter with plenty of skills and thrills on show, this was indeed a fine advert for veterans’ football. Jarrod Price and Gavin Williams got Penydarren’s goals, whilst Anthony Ferguson was on target for Barry.
