An excellent win for bottom of the table, Cwmbran at Cardiff University Fields in a Friday night fixture. Laida, Watkins and Strange were on target.

3rd March
Nelson Cavaliers 3, Newport 1
Another good win for the hosts at Lewis School, Pengam with Vest, Fortt and Roberts on the scoresheet. Cueto replied for the visitors.

A great win for the hosts at Lewis School who took a 3-0 half-time lead through Roberts, McDonald and Pope, although the visitors were guilty ‘enabling’ each of the goals.

Cardiff Academicals 0, Llanelli Town 7
Congratulations to Llanelli Town who secured the o50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League title in style with a fine away win at St Mellon’s. It was Neil ‘Willie’ Williams who did most of the damage with a further five goals to add to his already impressive season's tally. Richards and Owen completed the scoring.

Pontyclun 1, Penybont 10
An emphatic win for the visitors at St Cyres School with an Andrew Davies hat-trick and further goals from Powell (2), Lewis (2), Taylor, Jordan and Miller. Chris Williams got Pontyclun’s consolation.

The Continental 2, Barry Town 0
This win keeps the hosts in runners-up spot in the o50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League with one to play. Redding and Thompson got their goals against a hard-working Barry Town team.

Swansea 4, Cwmbran Celtics 0
A comfortable win for the hosts at Penyrheol Leisure Centre with Kennedy (2), Morgan and Toms on target. The three points keeps them in 4th place.

A good three points for the visitors at Bro Morgannwg with Kennedy (2), Toms and Haskins on target. Fredriksen scored both goals for the hosts.

Cwmbran Celtics 0, Merthyr Tydfil 7
A comfortable win for the visitors at Celtic Park featuring a brace-a-piece for Lewis, John and Needs and a further goal by Owen keeps them hot-on-the-heels of the League leaders.

Llanelli Town 6, Pontyclun 0
A comfortable win for the hosts at Penrhos School. Justin Williams (2), Rogers, Rocke, Richards and Neil Williams were on target for the League leaders.

Nelson Cavaliers 0, Cardiff Academicals 4
Another fine win for the visitors (pictured) at Wern Park and a handful of goals by Bell, Vaskin, Owen and Allsopp explains the Accies finest season for several years.

Newport 1, The Continental 8
An emphatic win for the visitors at the University Fields in Llanrumney featured a Dean Morris hat-trick and further goals by Thompson, Painter, Morgan, Redding and Wigley. The win sees them leap-frog todays opponents and level with Merthyr on 15 points.

7th January 2024
Penybont 2, Llanelli Town 9
A comprehensive victory for the Reds on their travels to the SDM stadium in Bridgend puts them in the box-seat for the O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League title. The hosts took an early lead through Andrew Davies, but the visitors soon levelled through Neil Williams...who scored the first of his 6 (six) goals, and they were in control from then on in. Lewis made the score-line 2-3 at the interval but apart from Williams’ personal tally, Owen, Legg and Rocke were also on target.

Swansea 1, Newport 1
Stalemate at Penyrheol Leisure Centre with a draw a fair result for two evenly-matched teams.

Merthyr Tydfil 7, Barry Town 0
A convincing win for the hosts against a spirited Barry Town at Penydarren Park, featured a Francis hat-trick. John (2) and Shane Davies completed the scoring for a very good Merthyr outfit who will fight until the season’s end to retain their title.

Pontyclun 3, Nelson Cavaliers 2
A good competitive game that could have gone either way. Trampelli and Binding were on target for Cavaliers but no scorers were provided for Pontyclun!

Cardiff Academicals 4, Cwmbran Celtics 1
A good win for the hosts at the University Fields in Llanrumney. Butt, with a well-placed finish, put them ahead early in the first half and further goals from Jason Bell (2) and Gary Pinkard, secured the 3 points. Cwmbran battled throughout and were denied on several occasions by Accies keeper Dan Burton, who was in fine form. A late penalty by Preece gave them a deserved consolation, but Accies were worthy winners today.

Newport 0, Merthyr Tydfil 7
An emphatic win for the visitors at Cardiff University Fields included a brace a-piece for White and Walker. Morris, Jones and John completed the rout.

The Continental 3, Swansea 0
A strong showing by The Continental, who secured a fine win at Eastern High. Goals from Wigley, Grech and Thompson enabled them to maintain the pressure on the O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League leaders

Barry Town 2, Cardiff Academicals 2
A hard-fought match in gale-force conditions at Bro Morgannwg ended all-square. Fredriksen put the hosts ahead before Bell equalised for the visitors on the half-hour. Brown put Barry 2-1 up going into the interval, but Bell got his second with 10 minutes remaining to ensure a share of the spoils for the Accies.

12th November
Merthyr Tydfil 6, The Continental 2
The hosts welcomed The Continental to King George V playing fields in Talgarth and secured an emphatic win including a Ricky John hat-trick and Jason Clarke brace. Paul Sanderson was on target for the visitors with a brace of his own...but the current League & cup holders are finding their feet after an indifferent start to the campaign and will, as usual, be influential in the battle for O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League honours.

Llanelli Town 8, Nelson Cavaliers 1
The goal-machine that is Neil ‘Willie’ Williams was in sparkling form for the hosts, scoring 7 (seven!) of his side’s 8 goals in a convincing win at Penrhos School. The valiant Cavaliers lost 2 players to injury early on - which did not help - but this was an impressive team performance for top of the table Reds from the moment Simon Rogers put them ahead on 8 minutes. Glenn Richards grabbed a consolation for the visitors.

Pontyclun 2, Barry Town 7
A fine team performance by the visitors at Garth Olwg, capped by a fabulous five from Barry Town’s ‘prodigal son’ Mike Fredriksen and a brace from his new strike partner, Nick Cummings. Pontyclun’s scorers not known.

Cardiff Academicals 0, Newport 1
A tight game at Cardiff University Fields was settled 5 minutes from normal time by a Robert Thomas goal. This narrow win keeps the East Walians in the group chasing O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League leaders, Llanelli Town.

12th November
Merthyr Tydfil 3, Llanelli Town 2
League & cup holders, Merthyr (pictured) welcomed an unbeaten Llanelli to Penydarren Park and in a fine, strongly contested game, the visitors took a 1 goal lead into the interval through Neil ‘Willy’ Williams. The Reds went 2nil up through a Neale Richards strike but Merthyr were never out of it – and the game was turned on its head in a dramatic 20-minute spell which saw strikes by Mark Walker and Jeff Lynch bring the scores level. Walker completed a superb fightback, scoring the winner with minutes remaining to take all 3points and ‘blow-open’ the O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League.

Cardiff Academicals 2, Penybont 5
A convincing win for the visitors at Cardiff University Fields with striker, Andrew Davies hitting all FIVE of their goals! Accies replied with two of their own, but scorers were not provided!

Newport 2, Barry Town 0
A good win for the inconsistent hosts at Cardiff University Fields. Mike Watkins gave them a half-time lead, capitalising on a defence mistake. Steve Willis secured the three points, following another defensive lapse.

Swansea 1, Nelson Cavaliers 1
A visitors picked up their first point of the season with a hard-fought, but well-earned draw at Penyrheol Leisure Centre. John-Paul Kennedy gave the hosts the lead on 15 minutes, but Neil Pope converted a penalty to make it all-square at half-time. The Swans hit the woodwork and pressurised the visitors, but Nelson keeper Chris Williams was in sparkling form and ensured a share of the spoils for his team.

The Continental 5, Cwmbran Celtics 1
A convincing win for the hosts at Cardiff East Campus with Chris Summers grabbing a hat-trick. Paul Sanderson and Robbie painter completed the scoring, whilst Ian Jones got a consolation for the Celtics.

Barry Town 0, Llanelli Town 4
The hosts welcomed a very good Llanelli side to Bro Morgannwg and although the game was end to end for the first quarter, the visitors soon showed their start-quality, Simon Rocke finishing well. Neil Willie Williams then took over taking advantage of a defensive error to out his team 0-2 up at the interval. He scored his second and third around the hour mark to keep the Reds well-clear at the top of the O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League.

Cwmbran Celtics 2, Nelson Cavaliers 1
The hosts got off the mark at Celtic Park after a good, tense battle with the Cavaliers. A Nigel Flannigan brace did the damage.

Swansea 8, Cardiff Academicals 0
The hosts maintained their second place in the O50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League
Table with an emphatic win against the Accies, who defeated League and cup holders the last time out! A fabulous 5 from habitual scorer John-Paul Kennedy and further goals from Gareth Morgan, Tyrone Fredrickson and Matthew Webb secured the 3 points.

Barry Town 4, Cwmbran Cetics 0
The hosts welcomed back ‘prodigal son’ Mike Fredriksen and he immediately made his mark at Bro Morgannwg with a brace. Further goals by Lee Galsworthy and ‘debutant’ Adam Govier secured a good 3 points for the Town.

Cardiff Academicals 4, Merthyr Tydfil 2
The Accies first home game of the season saw them take the 3 points against the League and Cup holders. The hosts took a 2-1 lead into half-time through Gary Pinkard and Jason Bell.
Merthyr equalised early in the 2nd half, only for the Accies to quickly hit back with Bell’s second goal. Merthyr continued to pressure the Accies defence which stood firm under the captaincy of Danny Saffer at center back and some great match-winning saves from Keeper Dan Burton. Olexsandr Vaskin made the game safe for the Accies and secured a great win.

Credit to Merthyr's Mark Smith for his sportsmanship after the ref initially awarded a 1st half Merthyr goal from a cross, when the ball had gone out of play before the pass to the Merthyr striker.

Llanelli Town 3, Newport 0
Newport could not raise a side so forfeited the game.

Penybont 2, The Continental 5
A comfortable win for the visitors at Bryntirion Park with goals from Darren Thompson (2), Robbie painter, Darren Redding and Jason Kavanagh. A Vince Lewis brace was not enough to prevent ‘Conti’ from taking the 3 points.

Pontyclun 0, Swansea 4
Swansea held a narrow 0-1 leading going into half-time at Y Pant School through John-Paul Kennedy, but in the second half they put the hosts to the sword with further goals by Kennedy, Neil Mills and Royston Tomlinson.

An emphatic win for the League holders at Penydarren Park with Nick Francis (2), Jeffrey Lynch (2), Mark Walker (2) and Stephen White on target. Chris Williams got a consolation for the visitors.

Penybont 2, Swansea 2
All square at the DDM Stadium with the Tyrone Fredrickson putting the visitors ahead after 2 minutes. Vince Lewis equalised before Gareth Morgan put the Swans 2-1 up going into the interval. Lewis secured a share of the spoils with his second goal.

Llanelli Town 3, The Continental 0
The hosts (pictured) made it 3 out of 3 at Penrhos School with a fine win over title contenders, The Continental. Neil Williams put the hosts ahead but when Dean Morris saw red for the visitors on the hour, Williams scored his second and Neil Waters completed the scoring.

17th September
Cwmbran Celtics 2, Newport 3
An excellent local Derby at Celtic Park with Paul Andrews getting both goals for Cwmbran. Newport came from behind twice before snatching the win with goals by Ian Summers, Rob Thomas and Tyrone Powell.

Llanelli Town o50s 5, Swansea 0
The Reds (pictured) made it 2 from 2 at Penrhos School against local rivals Swansea. After a slowish start they found their rhythm and opened the scoring through Neil Williams before former Swansea City player Carl McClarnan, scoring on his debut, took the hosts 2 nil up at the interval. In the second period the Reds dominated with the free-scoring Williams adding another 3 more goals to seal a deserved victory.

Nelson Cavaliers 1, The Continental 3
The hosts took the lead through Fortt at The Wern but the visitors secured a good away win with Russell Wigley, Dean Morris and Darren Thompson on target for Andrew Kempton’s charges.

Pontyclun 2, Cardiff Academicals 1
Pontyclun secured an away win against the Accies at Y Pant School with goals from Simon Magee and Jonathan Bartley. Jason Bell was on target for the visitors.

3rd September
The o50s WorkwearSupermarket.com League got underway in an inauspicious manner with habitual league and cup winners, Merthyr Tydfil, unable to raise a team and conceding the game to Swansea. In doing so, it has made this competition completely wide-open!

Barry Town o50s 1 - 4 Penybont o50s
A good away win for the visitors at a sweltering Bro Morgannwg with Justin Savage giving them the lead going into the interval. Mark Warman levelled the scores early in the second half with a 25-yard screamer, but Penybont’s superior fitness was telling and a Karl Miller second-half hat-trick helped them secure a comfortable win.

Cwmbran Cetics o50s 0 - 6 Llanelli Town o50s
A convincing win for the Reds with Neil Williams continuing where he left-off last season, by netting four goals in a 6-0 win. Simon Rogers also bagged a brace.

Newport o50s 3 - 4 Pontyclun o50s
An end to end affair at a baking hot Cold Bath Road with Tyrone Powell, Mike Watkins and Steve Willis scoring for the hosts but two late goals securing a fine win for the visitors who scored through Jason Phillips, Gwion Kennard, Scott Dryden (pen) and player/manager Will Ryan.

The Continental 3 - 0 Cardiff Academicals o50s
A good start for the hosts at a baking Eastern High School with with a comfortable win against the Accies, through a Chris Summers brace and a further goal by Craig Evans.
