O50s Home Nations tournament

Wales Veterans' Football accepted an invitation to the o50s Home Nations tournament, held this year in Newcastle, Northern Ireland but were edged out by an excellent England side.

Wales, under manager Rogan Matthews, won the tournament in 2021 and 2022 but in their first match this time out, lost 2-1 against eventual Home Nations winners England, Phil Tranter on target for Wales. Wales went on to defeat Team GB comfortably by 8 goals to nil and then defeated hosts, Northern Ireland with goals from Phil Tranter and Neil Williams.
