Sadly this competitive game at a Bro Morgannwg was abandoned with the score at 1-1. Hutchins put the hosts ahead and Oliver equalised before a nasty knee injury to Ferndale player, Alan Bassett, stooped play! We wish Alan all the best for a speedy recovery.

22nd September 2024
Barry Town 1, Llanelli Town 1
A competitive and skilful game at a wet Jenner Park with plenty of goalmouth action. Bartley gave the visitors the lead within 10 minutes and although the hosts had opportunities to equalise, they were the better team for much of the half, particularly when their opponents went down to 10 men following the sin-binning of Peter Jones. Barry came out of the traps quickly in the second half and the dangerous Blandon put them level almost immediately after good work by Davey and Hosgood, who was now orchestrating for the hosts, who had several gilt edges chances to increase their lead, hitting the woodwork twice and forcing Llanelli stopper, Curtis, into several fine saves. The visitors also had a couple of opportunities but Barry keeper, Davie was alert and the game finished all-square.

Pentyrch Rangers 2, Briton Ferry Llansawel 8
A convincing win for the visitors at Parc Y Dwrlan with a Gary Davies hat-trick and further goals for Huw Jones (2), Nick Davies and Walsh. King and Gay were on target for the hosts.
